Dr. Assil Russell is a specialist Endodontist, graduating top of her class with Distinction from the University of Otago's Faculty of Dentistry. She has completed 10 years of study including a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics). Her research thesis on endodontic surgery has been published in both local and internationally renowned dental journals. Assil has a truly humanitarian heart and is founder of two medical and dental charities including Revive A Smile, which helps at-need Kiwis access dental treatment and ICARE, which provides life saving treatment to orphans. Assil is an advocate for improving health inequalities in New Zealand and has been invited to speak in Parliament and Premier House on numerous occasions. Outside of work she loves spending quality time with her young daughter.

Carla Erazo
Carla is our friendly practice administrator and nurse. Originally from Peru, Carla has a bachelors degree in dental surgery and is an extremely qualified practice nurse. She enjoys assisting with all endodontic procedures but has a special interest in surgery. Carla has a beautiful big and welcoming smile and will help make your visits as comfortable as possible. Carla is fluent in Spanish and in her spare time loves camping, exploring New Zealand and spending time with her two favourite people (husband and son).
